Philosophy

At Altman Music Studio, we nurture a life-long love of music through the study of piano, keyboard and guitar. We believe that the greatest gift a student can take from our music program is a solid understanding of music theory and methodology. Students learn through lessons—which focus on playing technique and music theory—as well as through independent practice. Practice requirements vary by level. Assignments will reinforce the expectations for each level and help each student strengthen areas of weakness in their playing.
